Carlos Reyes first got started developing his skillset in computers and hardware throughout high school. Since growing up in a house that appreciated music this would lead to a peak in curiosity of using DAWs to make his own music. This would later evolve to making bands demos to recording full albums at home. Since then, Carlos has been in collaboration with several artist and performers and has provided production services for local events/curated experiences, mixing of live recorded performances for post, and even getting involved in the planning, creation, and integration of audio visual elements for a local theaters.

Carlos is an honors graduate from Saint Petersburg College’s MIRA Program. Where he learned the tools of the trade of the music industry, recording/production, and live sound concepts, all the while having the opportunity to collaborate with his peers. Several of Carlos’ recent projects involved getting creative with sound layering and uses of editing workflows to achieve a desired sound all within the software. Being really big on file organization, technical know-how, and thoroughness when it comes to editing are a few key things that makes his workflow advantageous in a session.

Apart from being in the studio, Carlos is also a keyboard/synth player and an enthusiast in collecting/recording unique instruments which he uses for his own sample library.
