Jon Tucker is a talented studio and live sound engineer as well as a gifted multi-instrumentalist from Lexington, North Carolina. Now calling Tampa, Florida his home, he contributes to the local music scene as a performer, educator, and recording engineer.

While pursuing a master’s degree in jazz performance from the University of South Florida he received his invaluable education as an intern, assistant engineer, and studio manager for Tom and Jim Morris at Morrisound Recording. Through their generosity and tutelage, Jon absorbed an immense amount of knowledge and diligently aspired to follow in their footsteps of becoming a great sound engineer. He continues to implement everything he learned and is still learning from these two legends of the recording arts.

Since 2014 Jon has served as the studio manager for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra where he has the privilege of working with and learning from Dave Wittman (previously of Electric Lady Studios). He also frequently engineers for them and has worked on numerous releases from the group.
