High Standards:
Since 1981, Morrisound Recording has been synonymous with world-class recording. As the industry evolved, so did Morrisound. Now, the studio is as personal as it is inspiring, and offers a totally new recording experience.
8-Track to Digital:
What started as a mobile 8-track recording system built into a “Hi Cube” van became the first 24-track, and then the first 48 track facility on Florida’s West Coast. Now we present our state-of-the-art Analog/Digital hybrid facility anchored by a Solid State Logic Duality console.
Engineered for Success:
The real key to any recording project is the quality of the people you work with. That’s what makes the difference between an experience you’ll treasure for years to come and one you can’t wait to put behind you.
Creative Freedom:
Morrisound has recorded virtually every style of music from classical to metal and everything in between including jazz, country, gospel, bluegrass, folk, rap, hip-hop, punk, funk, R&B, alternative, electronic, and death metal.

After attending The University of South Florida to study Electrical Engineering, Jim began playing professionally, traveling throughout Florida until he landed a job at Thoroughbred Music.
